Image Server/400 is a complete document image management system. Documents can be quickly scanned into the system and stored in AS/400-iSeries IFS folders. Other document types such as MS Word or Excel can also be imported from IFS folders into the Image Server/400 document database.
When documents are captured, up to ten user-defined keys can be assigned to each document for fast and easy retrieval. Documents can be retrieved for viewing via any Web browser. Documents are secured by users at the folder level. Images can later be archived to CD or optical disk for long-term storage.
